Leadership Retreat a Success!

SFLI held the 2nd annual Leadership Retreat this past weekend. It went very well. Eight students met in Chicago from schools including Loyola, UIC, U of I, Olivet and Notre Dame.Overall it was a great success as evidenced by a comment on this blog by Ali, one of the participants: "EVERYONE should attend this leadership retreat next year! It’s a great encouragement and good help to any group no matter the size!!! SO GOOOOOOOO"Friday night we got to know each other over dinner on Navy Pier. We had a great time listening to jazz and walking on the pier.On Saturday, students shared their experiences, difficulties and successes, and discussed how to best serve their various campuses. We talked about various aspects and tools that are essential to every pro-life group. Students learned how to set up a website and mailing list.We also discussed the 2007 SFLI Conference. The students in attendance were the first to learn of the details of the conference and helped with their input. More details will be posted here soon
