NYTimes Features Abortion Photographs
LENS, the New York Times' Photography, Video, and Visual Journalism blog has a very well written feature on the graphic, truth-exposing photos of aborted fetuses that are found in educational materials and campaigns across the nation. Monica Migliorino Miller, an associate professor at Madonna University in Michigan, is the photographer responsible for creating an estimated 50% of such pictures that are found online. Her photographs show the remains of aborted fetuses that were left in cardboard boxes at loading docks and trash hauling bins, a discovery that compelled her "...to make a record of the reality of abortion".Read the blog and see the pictures here: http://lens.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/10/09/behind-19/
