"So many people loving all life"

This is the fourth post in a series of stories from students who attended the March for Life in D.C. with SFLI in January. Today's story comes from Sarah, a student at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.SarahRecently I was able to mark something off of my bucket list, I was so excited to finally be doing I couldn’t even believe I was actually doing it- attending the March for Life in Washington, D.C.I was given the great opportunity be a part of the largest public rally in the United States to support the right for life and to make a difference.Going for the first time was so incredibly exciting. I didn’t know a single person who I would be fourteen hours away from home with, but I quickly met many wonderful people and shared an experience of a lifetime with them. The March for Life was amazing. Hundreds of thousands of people gathered in the streets walking to the United States Capitol building. Old and young, everyone was united for this cause.I was overwhelmingly in awe at the sight. Posters, banners, music, chanting, and the tremendous support of so many people loving all life is something that will never cease to escape my memory.Going to the March for Life only strengthened my awareness of the pro-life movement. Attending the March for Life is one thing on my bucket list that will have many checkmarks next to it in years to come. Life is for everyone.Thank you for sharing your story with us, Sarah! We look forward to marching with you for many years to come.
