Student Leaders are ready to create a Culture of Life on Campus!

Last weekend, we brought together our student leaders for a weekend of formation and preparation for this year’s mission!

Our students were challenged to share what they learned and invite others into the mission - making over 150 calls to fellow students in just one day!

They also planned a packed week of events for Welcome Week at both ISU and UIUC.

Ben, one of our leaders, shared his experience from the weekend,

“After Bootcamp, I feel much more invested in WeDignify as an organization. I feel more motivated and committed knowing I’m entering the fall semester as part of a community, not just as an employee.”

- Ben

Another student leader, Joshua, shared how the weekend shaped his view of dialogue,

“WeDignify has small groups and advocacy teams, but Bootcamp really showed me the value of having dignifying conversations - discussions that focus on changing hearts while still honoring the dignity of every person, no matter their opinion."

- Joshua

Students also attended our annual Supporter BBQ! Family and friends in the weDignify community came together to share a meal and meet the students they so graciously support.

Nora, a weDignify student leader, shared,

"I am so grateful for all of our sponsors that made Bootcamp possible. The weekend has allowed me to gain knowledge about how to lead my small group, build stronger relationships, and invite others into this mission."
