Illinois Abortion Industry Targets College Campuses
As students return to campus, the abortion industry is targeting them.
On August 22, police responded to a call from a pregnant woman in Bloomington, IL - near Illinois State. She was found bleeding heavily because her boyfriend slipped her the abortion pill against her will.
The man admitted to giving his girlfriend mifepristone (abortion pills) because she refused to end her baby’s life.
The pills worked - she tragically lost her baby.
When asked how he got the pills - the man said he bought the pills for $50 “from a girl on [Illinois State’s] campus.”
Just days before, Illinois Gov. Pritzker signed a new law that requires all public universities to promote, carry, and distribute abortion pills just like these on campus.
Now these dangerous pills will be even easier to abuse.
Before this law, the University of Illinois refused to prescribe the abortion pill because they do not have the expertise to manage the many potentially life-threatening complications.
This bill ignores these threats to women's health, focusing only on promoting abortion.
That's exactly why weDignify serves on college campuses. Our trained pro-life students are already reaching students on the quad, dorms, ministries, classes, and more. But we cannot continue to reach students without your financial support.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 to reach pregnant students with life-affirming help, before the abortion industry does.
Your gift to weDignify will help reach this goal and save lives.
Right now, generous donors will match gifts up to $5,000, but you must send in your gift by October 15th for it to be doubled!
