"I’m motivated and inspired to build a culture of life"
This is the second post in a series of student testimonies following SFLI's trip to Washington, D.C. for the March for Life.Mark, Vice President of UIC Students for Life, shares his story here:
I was extremely excited to go to the DC March for Life for the first time, but I was also uneasy.
I felt strong in my pro-life views, but I was unsure of putting myself out there.I even considered stepping down from my position as Vice President of Students for Life at UIC.But once I saw the multitude of people who came out to the March and heard their testimonies, I realized that being pro-life shouldn’t be confined to an occasional hobby. To be pro-life means that I must stand up for life 24/7.Now I feel more confident in sharing and celebrating the pro-life message with everyone around me.Because of the March for Life I’m motivated and inspired to build a culture of life.We are so glad that we have the opportunity to work with Mark as he builds a culture of life at UIC!
