Interns: Jerry, Lindsay and Rose

With the busy-ness of summer, planning events, working with interns and getting ready for a great 2010-2011 academic year full of spreading the pro-life message, I haven't had the opportunity to introduce you to the 2010 SFLI Summer Interns.  You may have seen a few new posts under the mysterious pen name 'Interns' well...Here they are: Jerry, Lindsay and Rose (in that order)Jerry is a 21 year old Junior at the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign) from Kerala, India. A ranking graduate of Kristu Jyoti English Medium High School in India, he now lives in the Chicago area. Jerry has been an active member of SFLI for a while now. He was very involved in our past two lobby days against the Illinois FOCA bill and has been on our Student Leadership Council for almost a year now.Lindsay first got involved with pro-life work through the 40 Days for Life campaign. While praying outside of the local Planned Parenthood, she saw real women and real children in danger and felt she had to do more. Lindsay will be a Junior in Religious Studies at the University of Illinois this coming school year.Rose is an architecture major and she will be a sophomore in the fall. She's from central Illinois and is also a U of I student who LOVES LIFE [she's very enthusiastic]. Rose is an outstanding example of a college pro-lifer on fire for spreading the message of life. As a freshman she led her own very successful pro-life discussion group and has recruited other students to do the same starting this fall!So far, it has been a great few weeks of working together for the unborn! The interns are busy creating new media projects for our activism days, planning events, helping with the SFLI statewide strategy and learning more about the pro-life movement.
