2019 March for Life Chicago: Unique from Day One
From Pro-choice to speaking at the March for Life Chicago
March for Life Chicago returns on January 13th, 2019 at 2:00pm in Federal Plaza.
This year’s theme: Unique from Day One celebrates the uniqueness of each human life at conception, as reaffirmed by science.
weDignify serves in integral ways, such as:
- 2019 Emcee: Kevin Grillot, weDignify Executive Director and the Vice President of the March for Life Chicago
- Lead the march: weDignify students lead the march, carrying the banner.
- Student Speaker: a prominent student leader is selected to speak on stage
Last year’s student speaker, Sarah Storto proclaimed, “I dream of a world where abortion isn’t just illegal, but unthinkable!”

From Pro-choice to Pro-life Leader
weDignify selected U of I student, Katie Douglas to represent the college pro-life movement at the 2019 March for Life Chicago.
Katie is a junior majoring in molecular and cellular biology and human nutrition from Monticello, IL. Her strong presence and deep maturity is why so many students follow her leadership.
During college, Katie transformed from pro-choice to pro-life leader. Now she boldly lives out her pro-life convictions:
“This is a position we must accept. A conversation we are unwilling to postpone. A cultural battle we intend to win.”
