Did You Know?
Illinois uses taxpayer’s money to promote abortion.
$10 Million of taxpayer money goes to hotline promoting abortions.
When a family receives a prenatal diagnosis, they deserve compassion and care for both the mother and the child.
Instead of funding programs that care for preborn children, such as prenatal hospice, Illinois is using $10 million of taxpayers’ money to promote abortion. Last year, IL Gov. Pritzker announced the “Complex Abortion Regional Line for Access,” or CARLA.
But it doesn’t stop there—taxpayers aren’t only paying for the CARLA hotline.
Taxpayers directly pay for abortions, even transportation and housing, so women from other states can come to Illinois for abortions.
And just this week, Governor Pritzker signed a bill to spend more taxpayer money on abortions.
This money funds something called the Birth Equity Act, which requires Illinois-based health insurance to cover abortion care without co-pays and deductibles, including coverage of abortion medications.
While Illinois and Gov. Pritzker promote abortion, weDignify promotes life-affirming options.
This past year, weDignify launched an ad to promote our website called PregnantIL.org. Since launching last fall, this ad has helped us reach hundreds of women so we can provide them with lifesaving resources!
