What could happen if more college students were equipped to confidently stand for life?
Your support helps make that opportunity possible - and Maddie’s story shows why that matters.
“I grew up in a Catholic, pro-life household. I always knew abortion was wrong, but I never received the formation I needed to explain why it was wrong to others.”
When she started college, Maddie became interested in gender and feminist studies, a field dominated by pro-abortion professors.
“I began to shy away from taking a firm position on abortion. I decided to avoid conflict and not be strong either way. In pro-life circles, I would just nod in agreement.”
Then, Maddie’s friend told her she was pregnant and had an abortion scheduled for the following week.
“I realized I had to decide - and I convinced her to not go through with the abortion.
Later in her pregnancy, I found out I was the only person in her life telling her she could choose life for her baby.”
Her friend chose life, despite her community telling her she should abort. Maddie decided she was going to boldly stand for life, no matter who she was around.
“I knew I needed to be more educated to have these discussions with people I didn’t know.”
Because of weDignify, Maddie is equipped to boldly proclaim life and change hearts!
“Even when surrounded by pro-abortion family, friends, and classmates, all it takes is one person to break that expectation and offer an alternative.”
Maddie is now a weDignify student leader - teaching other students to save lives with her!
