For those who are not travelling to Washington D.C. this weekend for the March for Life, check out these other awesome events happening around Illinois!Springfield2011 Planned Parenthood Prayer Vigil Saturday, January 22 from 9:45am - 2:15pm.The event is being co-sponsored by Springfield Right to Life and the Diocese of Springfield. We are asking people to sign up for 30- or 60-minute shifts, from 9:45am - 2:15pm. You may sign up as individuals or in groups. We will pray on the sidewalk in front of the Planned Parenthood facility at 1000 E. Formerly a pro-abortion, militant feminist, Ms. Brennan experienced a miraculous conversion and is now devoted to post-abortion healing for women and men. Reception to follow at the Howlett Building, former Hall of Flags.ChampaignThe annual Community Ecumenical Memorial Prayer Vigil will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church located at 708 West Main Street in Urbana.The theme for this year’s Vigil is“Life and Love – Unconditional Gifts,” featuring speakers Director Sally J. Williams of Urban Life Matters Pregnancy Center in Indianapolis andPastor Shannon Caughey of Twin City Bible Church in Urbana.
